Item as described. Checked and set up-it works. The main disadvantage of such water leakage sensors is the rather weak signal and sensitivity of the built-in Wi-Fi module. I have been buying them for about 3 years and most (10 pcs) are unstable. It is connected, then it is not. Then the alarm comes, then does not come. If within one room and the router is, then more or less stable. But even 1 brick wall, already critical for stability. For security systems, this is, of course, unacceptable!!
But I did not find anything else with better characteristics with the connection to the Tuya smart home system. Therefore, I try to duplicate especially remote places and put 2-3 sensors, but it’s not a fact that they will work. There are no complaints about the seller himself, because This is a purely constructive flaw. It is necessary to somehow make an external antenna, and there is a spiral on the printed circuit board.
Great seller and the items received within a week of the order. Device needs 2x AAA batteries (not included). The device paired easily to Zigbee2MQTT and connected to Homebridge via Z2M plug-in. I did a quick test by exposing the sensor lead to water and it generated a leak alert on the Home app. Sweet!
I tested the sensor upon recived and it works as expected.
The only thing I miss is that there is a mains-powered version to eliminate battery replacements.
